The rise in numbers of dog bits injuries, particularly in children reflects a very worrying concern for the Vizsla breed.
Whilst some cases involve some degree of poor control and understanding of the Vizsla by the owner, children are often unaware of the warning signs or impending danger.
Early on in the 2000s, researchers in the Netherlands collaborated with local vets and academics at theUniversity of Lincoln to set up ” The Blue Dog Project”.
