About Vizsla Rescue
Vizsla Rescue is a charity that exists to help rehome Hungarian Vizslas whose owners cannot keep them or do not want them any more — for whatever reason.
With over 35 years of experience of the breed, the Vizsla Rescue team is run entirely on a voluntary basis. Our volunteers have first-hand experience of owning and caring for their own Vizslas and rescue Vizslas.
Finding the right home
Every dog is different. Our rehoming work is built around understanding each Vizsla and finding the right permanent home for their individual needs.
A lifetime of care
For Vizslas who cannot be rehomed due to age or trauma, our sanctuary at Poplar Farm offers care for the rest of their lives, supported by the charity.
Meet the people behind the rescue
Our volunteer team brings together experience in rehoming, assessment, training, administration and fundraising.
